As a kid I grew up watching Bill Nye as I am sure most people did. I never knew though that he is actually a legit scientist/engineer that worked for Boeing. I always thought he was just a comedian. Makes him that much more awesome!!

Cancer and disease is so prevalent these days. Many think a big reason why we have cancer and many diseases is because of our detachment from nature. We constantly make, use and consume synthetic products that are not found in the natural environment. Do you think humans will eventually adapt to synthetic diets and a million years from now people will be able to basically eat plastic?
